BWE has an Academy in Swansea, located in the Training Centre, a former boxing gym that was bought, privately, by Mr Sims, given a facelift, re-fit and repurposed and is trading as a separate entity to BWE. The Training Centre is an fairly old building, but the facilities are fairly modern, with good gym facilities, a classroom, locker room, offices and room for two full sized wrestling rings in the main hall. The training centre/academy staff is headed by Mr Sims' friend, another retired professional wrestler, Mark Lister, better known as Malice. Malice is co-owner of the training centre/Academy.

After significant investment by Mr Sims and Malice behind the scenes, the training centre has been revamped, and the academy upgraded. The BWE academy has been rebranded as the Excellerator Academy, a move which ties in the title belt of the same name. Academy prospects, rookies, undercard talent and less experienced wrestlers can compete for the Copr Bay Excellerator title, and dream of one day rising up the ranks and competing for the Principality Championship, the rebranded main title of BWE's flagship show, STRIKE

Excellerator Academy shows are focussed mainly on members of the Excellerator Academy and local talent, brought in to bolster the roster ahead of BWE's relaunch.

The Excellerator Academy prospects featured are young guys training under coach Malice, not quite the finished article, but showing promise, who are dreaming of one day, joining the BWE roster, some perhaps, seeing their future elsewhere.

As you may guess, by the logo, The Copr Bay Excellerator title will be tied in to the Excellerator Academy shows, becoming the main title of the show, and anyone appearing on the show will be eligible to compete for it.


Behind the scenes:

Currently, these are all NPC characters, but you are welcome to create a character to be a long term part of the show, or request a match on the show with your regular BWE character or perhaps, audition a new character.

Everyone is welcome to role-play for the show. Whether it's a one-off appearance or something more. Perhaps you are at the training centre, brushing up on your skills with Malice, or one of the other coaches. Maybe you are there to support one of the youngsters in the academy, or you are a veteran, helping out, passing on your knowledge and experience, either as part of the show, or even, coaching someone who is new to feds and role-playing.

The training centre/Academy, has a full gym, two practice rings and other equipment as well as a classroom on site and is run by a small team, headed up by Malice.

The academy is also the main location and show for Malice going forward. He will not be around the arena, or Strike, unless there's a specific reason for it.
